What is Parenting Conference?
We’re excited to host a special day of equipping, encouragement, challenge, and fellowship for parents each year. We believe parents have been assigned a high calling by God - to disciple their children in the way they should go unto Christ (Proverbs 22:6, Matthew 28:18-20). No one can replace the foundational influence assigned by God to parents. What we do with our children matters to God. The heart of this conference is that parents would be encouraged in their role to grow in obedience to God’s calling for their life, keeping the Gospel central in their homes through spiritual rhythms, and to equip parents with God’s Word so that they might faithfully minister it to their families at home. There is also special time devoted to building relationships between parents so they might be encouraged in their walk with the Lord.
Who is Parenting Conference for?
The primary audience of this conference is to minister to parents of children from ages 0-18. Whether you’re preparing the nursery for the soon arrival of your little one, caught in the middle of the toddler or school age years, or only have one year left at home with your child before they leave for college - this conference is for you! No matter where you are in the parenting journey, you still have time to influence your children toward Christ!
Who is the speaker this year?
We’re thrilled to have Dr. Jared Wilson joining us from Kansas City, MO. Jared is an author, associate professor at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and preaching pastor at Liberty Baptist Church. His heart for Gospel centrality in the church and the home will challenge you to consider how you can grow in keeping the “main thing” the “main thing” in your family and household.
Where and when is the conference? How much does it cost?
The conference will be hosted at Calvary Baptist Church (300 Rossland Road East, Oshawa) on September 19th, from 9 am - 3 pm. The cost is $15 per person and includes lunch, snacks, resources, and giveaways.

We currently will have Reformed Book Services and Lithos Kids as vendors at our event to provide a curated group of resources available for purchase at the event.
Heritage College & Seminary will also have a representative at the conference who will be available to answer any questions you might have about formal Biblical training.
We’re currently working with some publishers about event sponsorship, and will share more updates as they are available.
