Calvary Young Adults supports 100’s of young professionals, students and young couples growing in their faith.
The Bible is central in our ministry. We love God’s word. We love to read it, teach it, gather around it in smaller communities and discuss it. The change that comes in the lives of all who open the book is powerful. God has provided many testimonies of life change which is the direct result of his grace and the application of his book.
Calvary Young Adults has many programs to help you get connected and grow in Jesus. ALL ARE WELCOME!
A typical Thursday night at Calvary Young Adults looks something like this:
7:00PM - Hangout / Free Snacks & Beverages
7:30PM - Live Worship Music
8:00PM - Bible Talk / Message from YA Pastor
8:45PM - Wrap-Up / Social
Our main building is at 301 Rossland Road East in Oshawa, Ontario.
If you are new on Campus or a returning student at UOIT or Durham College, welcome! Calvary Baptist Church can be your home away from home. Come and connect with other students from campus and the community as we grow and live in authentic relationship with Jesus!
We have a taxi to church every week. The taxi will pick you up at 9:30am at the UOIT/DC Student Services Centre on Sundays. You'll be dropped off at our 301 campus to meet with other young adults for Coffee & Connect before walking across the street to our 300 building for our 11am service. The taxi will pick you up & drop you off at 1:00pm and return you to the campus.
Campus Abroad is a Young Adults ministry that recognizes many of our students are away from home as they study abroad. If that's you, we want you to know that you may not be present with us but you are not forgotten. Help us to help you remain connected to important information stemming from our Calvary Young Adults group.
Please take a minute and fill out the form below with your contact information so that we can send you important updates, encouragements, and stay up to date on your prayer requests while you study abroad.
Let us know, we would love to connect with you while you're home from school! Email Nick or Matthew.
