Serving The Kingdom

Full Service

Disciples serve Jesus by expending time, talents and resources in His Kingdom

When we expend our lives in God’s kingdom, there is nothing that can destroy, diminish or even steal our investment.

Why should you serve the kingdom?

Why should you think about investing in the 1-1-1 mandate of Calvary?

Why would you begin to tithe to the church?

Rescued: New life with purpose (2 Timothy 1:9)

2 Timothy 1:9 say “He has saved us and called us to a holy life--not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time

Refocus: Seek first the Kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33)

Refocusing is defined as: to focus (attention or resources) on something new or different.

“If you don't feel strong desires for the manifestation of the glory of God, it is not because you have drunk deeply and are satisfied. It is because you have nibbled so long at the table of the world. Your soul is stuffed with small things, and there is no room for the great.” ― John Piper, A Hunger For God

We need to refocus as a church:

Challenge:

8 services

4 offerings

2 communions

1 Service ( Fire up the Grill) invite and serve

Remaining: Standing firm- our labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Cor. 15:58)

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
