Hope for Hard Times
Jesus is Coming Again! The Light at the End of the Tunnel
2 Peter 3:1-18
In this final chapter, Peter leaves us with two reminders.
Judgement is Coming
- Despite what the scoffers say (vs. 3-4)
- Despite the apparent delay (vs. 8-9a)
- The day of the Lord will come (vs. 10)
Repent and Obey
- God is being patient for your salvation (vs. 9b, 15)
- Live holy and godly lives. Make every effort to be spotless, blameless, and at peace with God (vs. 11, 14)
- Look forward to the day of God (vs. 12-13)
- Share the Gospel (vs. 9, 15)
- Be on your guard (vs. 17)
- Grow in grace and knowledge (vs. 18)
Jesus is Coming Again! Let us live accordingly – Repent and Obey
