I Am Protected By God

Exodus 14:14

Full Service

We live in a world filled with challenges – conflict, disease, pandemic, financial crisis, death.
There is so much that can cause fear, and yet God promises that He is our protector.

How does that work – what does it mean – and how should we live in this promise?

I. God fights His battles.
     a. When the battle is the Lord’s, He will do the fighting.
     b. We need only follow God’s instructions.

II. God is present in our battles.
     a. He makes His presence felt when we face struggles.
     b. God is with us and makes His presence known.
          i. Through the Holy Spirit. (Jn. 16:13-14)
ii. Through the church. (Mt. 5:14-16)

III. God has already won the battle.
     a. The real battle, the most important battle, the battle between life and death, has already been won. (1 Co. 15:51-58)
     b. As a believer, saved by God, adopted into His family – you are protected by God for all eternity.
     c. You are a new creation. (2 Co. 5:17)
     d. You have been sealed by the Holy Spirit. (Ep. 4:30)
     e. Nothing can separate you from the love of God. (Rm. 8:38-39)
     f. You are guaranteed eternal life in the presence of God. (1 Jn. 5:11, Jn. 3:16, Rm. 6:23)

We are protected by God.

Trust Him – He is with us – He will fight for us – He has fought for us – He has won the battle.
