Speaking up on the hidden problem of Human Trafficking and celebrating the awareness raised through the 13 week campaign. This event is for Grades 6-12 Students and Youth Leaders in local churches.
The crisis of Human Trafficking in the Durham Region is one of importance to everyone, and specifically to teenagers. The age of recruitment is as young as 12 to 13 years old. We're bringing teens together to help change the reputation and repetition of Human Trafficking in the Durham Region. Turning teens from targets into advocates.Come learn about Human Trafficking, how to prevent it, the real stories of survivors, the services in the region helping prevent and repair its damages Teens have also been working hard across the Durham Region to raise awareness and we want to celebrate their efforts with music, magic and other performances!
